Ciel finds an article in the newspaper about the miraculous Karnstein Hospital, where the dead are brought back to life. The hospital is holding a meeting of the “Aurora Society,” a group that conducts illegal human experimentation. Ciel decides to go undercover and find out that the next meeting will be held on a luxury cruise ship, on which Elizabeth is also traveling.
Ciel and Sebastian join the society and witness the reanimation of a dead person. It was something similar to a zombie that never dies.
Elizabeth, unaware of Ciel’s undercover work, is delighted to find him. However, the travelers and Ciel and the others are attacked by zombie survivors who are released into the cruise ship. The only way to defeat the pursuing zombies is to destroy their heads.
In the midst of the mere chaos, the cruise ship hits an iceberg and the rooms inside begin to flood. As the ship fills with water, the zombies are in their greatest danger as well, chasing after them. Ciel is saved when Elizabeth uses her sword to disable the zombies in an instant.
Ciel and Sebastian return to the Dawn Society to investigate the mystery of the zombie. It turns out that it was an undertaker who created the device that brought dead people back to life, and that he was also a reaper. A three-way battle then breaks out between the current Shinigami (Grell), a former Shinigami who is now a mortician (Sougiya), and a demon (Sebastian).
The mortician swings his scythe at Sebastian, and Sebastian’s running joke reveals his encounter with Ciel. However, the fight is called off because the boat breaks down and submerges. Ciel and Sebastian try to escape in a small boat, but are again attacked by zombies. On Ciel’s orders, Sebastian cleans up the zombies, and the luxury liner sinks, bringing the curtain down.
6. “Boarding School” (comics vol. 14, no. 67 – vol. 18, no. 84)
A letter from Her Majesty the Queen asks them to investigate why students are not returning home from the Weston School, one of the most prestigious boarding schools in England. Ciel is a student and Sebastian is a blue dorm supervisor.
There are four traditional dormitories, divided according to their characteristics: red for the nobility, green for the athletically gifted, blue for the academically gifted, and purple for the gifted. The four prefects in each dormitory are known as the “P4” and are admired by all the students. In order to obtain information, Ciel uses Sebastian’s special abilities to perform chores, and in an effort to get closer to the P4, he also enrolls Prince Soma in the dormitory, and finally becomes one of the P4 dorm brothers.
We asked around, but everyone answered in unison that the transfer of students from the purple dormitory who did not return home would be done “only if the principal decides to do so. Ciel, however, was unable to find a solution, so he set fire to the purple dormitory to search for the students who were not returning home, but it turned out that there were no such students in the purple dormitory from the …… beginning. The only way left is to win the cricket tournament and get a clue to get close to the principal.
With Sebastian’s help and special abilities, a well-calculated cricket tournament begins. Ciel also fights with all his might, and the blue dormitory wins. Ciel is invited to the “Midnight Tea Party” where he can talk to the P4s and finds a zombified student who has not returned home. Like the luxury liner, he is dead, but he is a survivor who can move. The “principal” is an undertaker. The P4 had been killing cozy, inhumane students in order to preserve the school’s traditions. The mortician was using these students to create the most perfect corpses possible by piecing together the future desires of the students in the running lights. Again, Sebastian tries to catch the mortician, but he escapes.
Later Ciel reported to the queen that he could resuscitate the dead; P4 was released from school without going to jail, and the school returned to its normal routine.
